I'm giving my Xmas turkey away tomorrow. I don't know why I bought it.

I have a dysfunctional relationship with food. I like cooking, I like feeding people but I just don't eat much.
Swim or gym today, meals for the rest of week all prepped in fridge which also seems rather full of green veg. Won't weigh til next week after a proper spell of being back to normal. made butter oatmeal cookies for the coffee morning tasted a tiny corner to check, then at the end to or one of the ladies take the rest to Her husband. didn't want one myself but I do miss baking for someone else. Might make some bran muffins for next week, at least they are fat free with no sweetening but the dried prunes.

Ummmm I just read your comment and im literally laughing out loud to myself as you’re exactly the same as me, and I’ve never found that before! I’m a feeder yet I don’t like eating myself! I’d happily live off cup a soups!
I used to be like that too but now it’s the other way around but never happens. I wonder if it’s an age thing.
Soak a cup of All bran in just enough skimmed milk to make it squishy
Add half a cup of wholemeal flour with a teaspoon of baking powder and two medium eggs, half a cup of chopped prunes pre soaked ,or any other dried fruit add rum or brandy to the presoak liquid the fruit absorbs it nicely if you like a bit of luxury. Blend all ingredients in a bowl with a teaspoon of mixed cakespice, or half a teaspoon of ginger or cinnamon, spoon into muffin cases and bake at 180 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until they spring back when pressed in the centre. They don't pickup like proper muffins but they do have a cakey texture and two are a good breakfast on the go .

Rowan thanks for recipe . The only thing I do not buy is rum and brandy .so will try them with sherry . Got some left from Xmas .
Down 0.6 lbs since the 17th.
So in the right direction, but by hardly anything.
Down is good OG. I too am down today by a pound. I didn’t realise it would be so hard to shift those Christmas delights. I heard yesterday that it’s not the Christmas to New Years that give weight problems, it’s the New Years to Christmas.
;-) Well I may not lose as much as I'd like over the 11.5 months, but the remaining 0.5 sure causes an increase. Not used the tape measure, but the belt is tighter of late.

Local repair shop has given up. Will collect it when I can.
Took advantage of being able to weigh myself again this morning. Shows down 1lb. Had a goodish day yesterday, barely went over goal, for once, but 1lb is a bit flattering. Does support the idea of a downward trend though. Here's to the next opportunity to weigh :-)

Good Morning to all who follow I hope you have had a good week .I have stayed the same .Got no sweets or cakes left gave most away . I had to buy them in over xmas for my grandkids and big kids lol .Have stocked on soups for lunch this week mostly with the cold weather as it is difficult to plan meals with the weather so cold . But we know it can be done .
Down a bit. You’re right Wendilla, it’s soup time. How I wish I could get scotch broth here instead of havingto make it from scratch which isn’t easy as I have to search for the ingredients first but needs must.
How much scotch does one have to add ?
Ah OG is that the secret ingredient?
