On Monday I had the misfortune of experiencing toothache in one of my upper molars. This was treated with a large filling and I will need a root canal in the new year. It is now Wednesday and I am now experiencing toothache in another tooth, on the other side of my jaw. I have never had toothache before, and neither am I particularly "run down" at the moment, it's as if an alarm clock has gone off with my teeth and now they all want a turn at the dentist! What's going on? THis is not the Christmas I ordered!!!

Try taking a couple of paracetamol and ibuprofen - works for me after i've been to the dentist
A tooth next to the treated one....YES, but not a tooth on the "other side of the jaw"

Thanks for replies! On Penicillin and a plethora of painkillers, so fingers crossed! Was wondering if infection from one tooth can spread to another?
