yes, i'm sure you did. you'll have a lovely straight-tooth smile when your braces finally come off. both my sons needed the same treatment at your age and both now have lovely straight teeth....with no gaps :o)

I assume the removed teeth were from the back?

your front teeth will have room to be pushed into place.. all will be well :o)

make sure you wear your retainer when the brace comes off, or it will all have been for nothing.
They wouldn't take them out unless they needed to. The braces should fix the problem.
I had the same done at your age before I had my brace fitted. Don't worry your teeth will spread out to fill the gap. They need the space to even out.
ooh hard one to answer...but if the orthodontist said it was the best thing to do to give your other teeth space to move the overlapping teeth into then its likely to be right.
They did the same to me...........top and bottom.
Unfortunately, the orthodontist miscalculated. My mouth grew to accommodate the required space. and I could have kept the top ones.
I have two gaps :o(
The orthodontist made me a bridge plate to 'infill' these gaps but the clips were visible and I felt just as attention-catching as the gaps.
i think there's something rather charming (if that's the right word) about a cheeky, gap-toothed smile.
ethandron, I have a cheeky gap-toothed smile at night when I go to bed.
you'll do for me then jovian ;)
Are we talking 'gap' or 'chasm' here?
ha ha craft, good point. i'm defo thinking gap not chasm.
sorry girls, think gummy.
i guess your gap-toothed smile resides in a glass at night then ;o)
You gottit baby,x.
