Well thats if fitted.
Went to Tescos and bang on the half hour it started to inflate and then remained like that for a minute.I tried to ignore but difficult.
The blooming then had just deflated and it inflated again for fully 2 mins by this time my hand was blue and I couldnt even move my fingers.

It went off again ten minutes ago -gave a ping and inflated then deflated in stages -no problem at all.

Any idea what went wrong with the Tesco experience ?

I have googled but cant get any info so thought i'd try peeps who have had it.

lol sorry Dris, but mine did that too, just didnt seem to want to let go.

It will just register as a fault on the data for that reading.

Did it just happen the once to you?
I was ready to take it off cos it was unbearable.
I'll persevere now ive had a normal experience lol !!
it did just happen once but this was in the eve so i tensed up each time after that.
My readings were still fine though

try and relaz
Dris.......stupid question I know, but why do you have to keep the cuff on between readings?
Happened to me too and am sure it sent my BP sky rocketing and then it had period when it tightened every 5 mins, not pleasant.

Cheers !

I am relaxed ive taken to my kip cos I dont have anything to put the blooming box in apart from stretch boxer shorts lol

O here we go again........................no prob !!

Just gonna read and watch the tele and not sleep cos that would be counter productive.
I presume this is the 24 monitor ?
The first time it was establishing a baseline reading...it went up just above an average level which was too low..couldn't read your higher (systolic) level and then reset to try a higher start point....once it had your normal systolic it only needed to go about 10 points above for later checks...

Sorry nipped off :)

I really dont know sqad but its not really an encumberance and I likely would forget to put it back on for the next reading.

Mamya -yes its the 24hr one and it was extremely nasty when that happened in the shop -it was very difficult to keep calm but as it was my fisrt reading apart from at the Docs I though it was normal -couldnt have stood it.Couldnt even open the car door -what a carry one :(

rowan in other words it was normal lol

Oopps here i go again.....fine again
I feel stressed for you!

Yaahhh !!
Got a clean bill of health -im astounded and very relieved..
Got to the bottom of my tiredness though courtsey of the Nurse and the Doc -I only went into a deep sleep for approx 2hrs-it was really evident on the graph and it had nothing to do with the cuff as I thought I had slept soundly and normally the whole night..

Feel great - bloods fine -thyroid 3.7 which I was told was fine.
Now to get into the habit of having a decent nights sleep :)

Thanks all for your support x
good news .... that's a relief for you.....
