i am 29 years old, have been on (ISOTETRINOIN) Roaccutane for 3 months and stopped it on 23rd april 2010, due to not liking the side effects and want to have another baby. Since stopping it, my periods stopped, didnt have one at all in May, just did a pregnancy test and its negative. Have they sopped because of the tablets? How long do i need to stay off tablets before i can conceive?? thanks

ahh thanks loobyloo. x
Hi Suzie, how you doing? Sqad doesn't come on here at night apparently, you'd be better either waiting to see if he comes on in the morning, or reposting during the day. Thanks for your response to my thread about Mr Mac - he's on the mend now :) x
suzie........you have only missed one period since stopping the tablets and a pregnancy test is negative.........very unlikely that you are pregnant, but repeat the test in 2weeks time.
I cannot see any connection between Roaccutane and the missing of pone period, which could be just fortuitous.
loobyloo is quite correct, there will be no damage to the foetus after about 4-6 weeks of discontinuing the tablets.

Bottom line is: if you now become pregnant, the foetus will be safe.
