Afternoon,

I keep seeing that garnier roll on thing you put under your eyes and was wondering if anyone used it and if it was any good?

Cheers!

Sounds like cucumber would have much the same effect then! Are there any products like this that actually work?
They say that piles cream works lol
DO NOT put piles cream or gel near your eyes, it is a bit of an urban myth that super models use it for that purpose. The chemicals used in the cream could damage your sight or at least make your eyes sting if they come into contact with the eyeball or delicate eye tissues.

Didn't even cross my mind daffy... Eewwwww!
I have heard that the ingredient they used to use in piles cream that had the shrinking effect is no longer in it,so it won't work. I've yet to find any eye-bag cream that works.
Ps. It wasn't an urban myth.many people used it and it's jest a ceam-why the eewww?
You don't put it on your bum first!!!!
It was/is an urban myth ganesh. One super model claimed to use the cream on occasion and was mis-quoted as saying they all use it all the time. The chemicals in it are most definitely NOT formulated for use on the face, let alone the thin and delicate skin around the eyes.
The supermodel thing may be but if you do some research you'll find that people did use it as it contained a chemical which reduces swelling. You can even look on AB at previous posts about puffy eyes and see that some people have used it. I'm sure it's not a good thing to get into your eyes but it's just a cream and it wouldn't thin the skin like a steroid would.
Afternoon, Avon do a nice undereye cream, got rid of my dark circles.
I've heard creams get rid of dark circles and wrinkles but nothings seems to work long-term on eye bags and puffiness.

I don't really have bags or puffiness as such but just noticed it looks a little dark under there (too many early mornings) so not really sure whether to get a cream or some sort of eye reviver thingy (such as the garnier thing but it does just sound like the same effect as cucumber to me).
i have been using it and think it works, but only a little bit. its certainly no miracle. i think perhaps the motion of rolling over the puffy area helps to drain the area. i would give the tinted one a go though, cos i do have dark circles.
ChinaD, stop rustling in the sack and go to bed early for a change. :-)
All the dark circles will disappear.

Lol... You may have a point society so I'll say g'night! :c)
Spoilsport, society
I have seen they do one for men - was thinking of getting it for Mr. Den who has suitcases under his eyes - I was also wondering how effective it is.
why should one for men be any different?,I don't understand-surely puffy eyes are the same on both genders!
Gordon Brown doesn't seem to be able to get rid of his bags and he's got loads of money! lol.

Many other links can be found via Google that explain why it is unwise to use the piles cream near eyes.
