FULLNESS IN THE EAR AFTER NECK PAIN

Hi Anyone else suffere with ear fullness and ringing in the ear after having a neck injury. I have just about had enough had headache and neck pain now for three weeks and now left with this ear problem. It just feels like youve been swimming and and got water left in the ear canal. ANY help would ne appreciated.

what should I do? how do i begin to cope?

Fullness and ringing in the ear are not an uncommon symptoms following neck injuries, particularly whip lash injuries.

The headache is referred pain from the neck but the ear symptoms are more difficult to explain.

I assume that you have had X-rays of your cervical spine.

I am afraid it is analgesics for the headache, but there is nothing to be done about the ear problem which may resolve given time.

Perhaps an ENT evaluation might be the next step.
