You will find you cannot be a blood donor if you have ever (even once) been injected with body building drugs. If you have taken them orally it need not apply.
This is because of the risk of infection with illegally given injections.

these are the risks of steroids. those needing blood products are of low-resistance, and the blood needs to be as "clean" as possible.
