how can i fade my permanent dyed hair quciker

my hair was highlighted 6 mths ago is naturally mousy blonde, then had perm all over dye to go back to natural colour 2 days ago but the colour is very dark and slightly red, will it fade naturally can i use anything to help it along. can't afford to go back to salon.

it should gradually fade, that's why although they say the colour is permanent, you still need it doing again after 6-8 weeks. My hairdresser told me to avoid shampoos like Vosene etc as they are too harsh and would strip the colour (which obviously I didn't want to do) but as you want to maybe you could try something like that

Something similar happened to me about a year ago, i dyed my hair too dark. So i was searching the internet for ways to fade the colour, i read that if you use anti-dandruff or build up remover shampoo and leave it in your hair for 30 minutes then wash it out it will fade the colour - so i tried it and it worked you could actually see the dye coming off when i rinsed my hair. My hair dried and i noticed a slight difference, to get back to your natural colour you will have to do this about 3-4 times a week for about 2 weeks. Hope ive helped youxx
