I've recently heard of Manuka HOney and it's benefits. I bought a jar the other day but am unsure of the method of consumption! Do you just take a spoonful and straight down the hatch or do you mix it with a glass of warm water?
Thanks

I take a teaspoon in a mug of hot water, and add a capful of cider vinegar to reduce the sweetness. Excellent for sore throats and irritating coughs.
It's made by the Hanuka bee.
What benefit has it got that other honeys haven't and what do you use it for?
Hi sqad. Manuka honey is supposed to have higher antiseptic properties than any other honey. Personally I buy cheap runny honey and find it soothes sore throats etc just as well as manuka honey which is fairly expensive.
Squad, just thought you might be interested, I have rather a large breast ulcer due to cancer and I was referred to a wound specialist at the hospital who gave me Manuka honey dressings, this was rather than keeping me on antibiotics for the MRSA,
gelda........quite interesting. I had never heard of it before, but Mrs sqad put me right. LOL
Sqad, look on the Comvita site, that will give you all the info, I would post a link but don't know how to.
Thanks gelda.
