I have been advised that even though myself and my partner combined earn too much for income tax credits, but that my wages are low enough (12,000pa before tax)to be able to get help with prescription charges and paying of dental bills. Can anyone advise me if this is true? and if so, how do I go about getting help with this?

you dont stand a chance you have to be on tax credits to get free prescriptions the only thing you can do is purchase a prepayment prescription which lasts for 4 months it costs about 33 pounds, you should contact your dentist and join their monthly payment scheme, theirfor spreading the costs, if you have diabetes you can get free prescriptions, but thats about it,,,,,,,mullein
yeah the prescription season ticket is a good deal if you are on a lot of medication. I had one when I had cancer treatment
