my 2 1/2 week old has oral thrush and we have been perscribed this medicine, she has been on it now for 3 days with no sign of improvement. She is having a lot of loose nappies and is unsettled. She took her bottles really well before we gave her the medicine but now she is fussy about them. And last night she sicked up all her bottle and also sicked up what looked like a load of the medicine! anyone with any suggestion bout what we should do? I have heard of daktarin gel but believe its not for under 3 months??? help anybody!

It isn't uncommon for Nystatin to take more than three days for signs of clinical resolution however given the symptoms you describe I would advise re-attendance at the GP
