Hi

I have often heard that Bicarbonate of Soda removes stains from teeth? Is that true? If it is, how do you go about it. Surely, putting it directly on your teeth will damage the enamel, won't it?

Thanx

Bi -carb is a good stain remover alison. Just tip some into a small dish, run your toothbrush under the tap and dip it in the bi-carb. Crest Whitening Strips are very good the cheapest place to buy them is e bay.
Best bet is get yourself an electric toothbrush and some smokers toothpaste (even if your not a smoker) its called Eucryl toothpowder and is available at tescos and chemists...it works a treat with the electric toothbrush...removes all stains!
You can buy toothpaste that has bicarbonate of soda in it already, I believe its called 'Hammers'
Arm & Hammer make a toothpaste with bicarb in it. It tastes awful though.

Eucryl is the paste of choice for me - leaves your mouth sweet and teeth shiny.
My mum used to make me use it once a week when I was little, I'm in my 20's and still have no fillings so I don't think it did my teeth any harm!
