hi my son ihaving a heart scan today as the hospital said they cause hear a irregular rhythm on his heart has anyone else been throgh this and just wondered what happens at the scan

Pain in stomach.

My son had a heart scan when he was a toddler due to him having a heart murmur. All they did was take his top clothes off,lie him on a bed and put some conducive gel on his chest, then did a very detailed ultra sound scan of his heart.It took about 15 minutes to do and the hardest thing was keeping him still and quiet.Thankfully his heart was fine :-)
