Spinning - how many calories does it burn?

Hi, this may sound like an odd question but how many calories (on average) does a 45 minute session of spinning (cycling) at the gym burn? I've been going to the classes for about a month now (I love them!) and I've never sweated so much in my life!

All the info I've seen says about 450 calories in 45mins. That's good!
