Im 14 and i really wanna get into good shape i've been training for ages and getting good results. People tell me i shouldnt be tryin to become muscular at my age. Does anyone think i should be?

i personally wouldn't recommend it. the reason is ; your body is developing and your height is increasing, working out at this age might result in serious damages. All i can say is to wait untill you reach 18 then you can take it from there on.

moderate resistance work is fine, there is no evidence that resistance exs inhibit growth. for teh moment, stick to bodyweight exs and general conditioning, and build up once your body is accustomed to it.
As long as you don't do it to excess you should be OK.
