you know when youve got an underwired one, and eventually the wire pings out at one end and thats the end of your bras life? does anyone know how to fix this? is there some sort of supergluey material stuff that you could push the wire back in and paste it over the end and your bra would be given a new lease of life? my boobs are a bit big and im not in the slightest bit rich and i cant afford to keep myself in bras!

Personally I always just take the wire out and wear the bra without it! Much more comfortable! But if you can push the wire in, could you not superglue the end so that it sticks to the material?
yes its called superglue :-)
my sister has sewed bias binding or something similar over the ends where the wire has popped out and gone on to wear her bras for a lot longer. depends on how handy you are with a needle and cotton!!
if you collect enough wires you could make a small hanging basket lol

i throw mine out when the wire bursts, its due to machine washing usually
the reason for wiring coming out is usually the tumble dryer. the heat melts the little plastic bit moulded on the end & the sharp end works through the fabric. you will have to find something similar (like you say-superglue) to fix the sharp ends 1st or they will just come out again & then sew them back in tightly.
(used to happen to me all the time- i stopped drying them in the machine & has not happened since)
You could always take the other one out, do a Joanna Lumley and make a pair of slippers from it.
A while ago I was surprised to learn (either from a TV prog or magazine article) that bra manufacturers expect us to ('we should') replace our bras every three months!
I don't know about you but I cannot afford to do that!
Also if you look at the instructions we should not be washing or drying them in machines but by hand wash only, Yeah right, like that's ever going to happen! Lol.
Its so annoying when the wire comes out.............i was stood in the supermarket checkout one day when i felt something poking me, almost in the face.............looked down and there was my underwire working its way out..............
lol! I was interviewing one day and was getting really annoyed because the guy kept looking at my chest, it was only after he left that i looked down and saw what looked like a wire; he probably thought I was recording the conversation!
