Some of us are constantly struggling to stick to our diets and say 'no' to another biscuit, but a new pill taken once a day claims to help women drop two dress sizes in six months. It affects part of the brain that controls appetite; as soon as you start to eat it you can feel full. There are claims that it could cut the need for drastic surgery to combat obesity as well as cutting heart disease and diabetes risks. There are however, worries that this pill does not cure the underlining problem of unhealthy lifestyles that can be the cause of the risks associated with obesity. What do you think? Could this be a miraculous help? Or do you think this is a quick fix that does not cure the real problem of obesity in the UK?

What a load of tripe- want to lose weight? Cut out the cakes (give them to me) and chips and exercise more. In other words, stop filling your faces and the 'miracle' will happen naturally.

I'm willing to bet that this pill is at worst dangerous and at the best an expensive placebo for gullable women and men.
surely you would start to suffer from malnutrition?

Where can you buy these???

I would love to look like Twiggy!!!!
i'm not convinced - if people are over eating then i doubt its because they don't feel full, its prob more to do with low willpower and poor eating habits.
Nothing wrong with being fat anyway. I cant see my toenails and my mrs reckons they're ugly so there is 1 advantage lol
I don't actually think losing 1 1/2 stone in 6 months is that impressive, to be honest. Assuming that following a healthy diet/excercise regime, or joining a slimming club, a person could lose 1-2 lbs per week, that's around 1 stone every 7 - 14 weeks. In 6 months, you'd expect to lose around, say 2 1/2 to 3 stone. and people who are very obese often drop around stone a month just from cutting back on fatty snacks and getting more exercise, and they can still enjoy their food and wouldn't be depriving themselves of anything.
I love food too much. Nothing could curb my appetite. Thank God I'm blessed with skinny genes, and I'm a vegetarian.
As I am sure everyone is aware....

You can only lose weight by eating less and exercising more.

Sorry

Happy daze
