myself & partner are planning 2 start a family this year my partner (male) was blonde as a child (age of 11) now his hair is a light brown he has blue eyes the same has his bro, mom & dad (who have mid brown hair) my partner although his hair has gone darker still has blonde eyebrows & lashes. Though when he tends to not shave for a few days there does seem 2 be trace of red in his beard. Myself (female) hav dark brown eyes, dark eyelashes & brows yet tend 2 have a dark auburn hair colour (Not a ginger red colour much darker) as a child I had freckles but they seem to have faded now. My father has dark brown hair wit blue eyes but has a fleck of red when growing a beard, my mother has dark eyes like me & the dark auburn hair colour also though this has gt darker as she has got older. My Mothers mom had green eyes with v dark hair & my g.father on moms side had brown eyes with dark hair. My g.mother on dads side has blue eyes/dark hair & her husband 2. As far as I am aware my partners grandparents all seem to be light eyed & do nt seem to have any red on that side of the family. I am v curious to see what colour eyes/hair my child may have. Many Thanks.

Apart from the fact that I can't be @rsed to read through all that lot, nobody can say for definate what colour eyes/hair your kids will have. They could have any combination of the above or even some colour that you didn't know existed in your family but for which the gene could have remained dormant for generations.

Mmmmm thanks cheeky chops!! but why the hell u bother to post on here if you cant be @rsed to read someones question???
As CheekyChops says, it is impossible to guess what colour hair and/or eyes your children will have, My Mum and one of her brothers had blonde (almost white it was so blonde) hair, their four siblings were all brunette. My Sister-in-law has three daughters, one of them has auburn hair, one is brunette and the other one is blonde.
It will be born with blue eyes, bet ya!!
are all children born with blue eyes i mean asians blacks etc just out of curiosity i have a black male friend who has one blue and one brown it's well cool lol
I was at primary school with my ex hubby and he was ginger and freckly, then when I met him again 14 years later he was very dark haired with no freckles. I am brunette with bluey grey eyes. My son was very blonde with blue eyes ( image of my brother) my daughter was born ginger with freckles, and is still like that aged 14. It hasn't changed. But she looks like my granny did at the same age ! There is no guarantee what your kids will look like as they can inherit their looks from past generations.
in answer to oldgrape, oriental children can be born with very dark blue, almost navy eyes...it's a very pretty colour...I think it always turns brown or so nearly black that the pupil can hardly be seen (which looks very attractive)
I agree with the above answers that your baby's eye colour can't be predicted but I'm sure you will be pleased in any case (I would bet on hazel, myself!)
I have hazel eyes and brown hair, ex husband had blue eyes and blond hair, 2 children with him had hazel eyes and brown hair,
second husband has very dark brown hair and hazel eyes, guess what.
my son has blond hair and blue eyes??????

weird or what
i have brown eyes mousey hair husb has hazel eyes brown hair eldest daughter is v pale skinned v blue eyes and white blonde hair youngest daughter is olive skinned blonde and brown eyes that were almost black when born so i would just enjoy the surprise as who knows
