Not a mole, but had a sebaceous cyst removed from my face after living with it for a few years. Dont remember any pain, though I seem to remember the local anasthetic made me sick. It healed very quickly and left no scar and wished I had done it sooner.
I had one removed from my spine and it wasnt very painfull at all. Obviously the numbing was a little uncomfortable but the process of removal was fairly quick and easy, and it healed fairly quick too. Pain wasnt an issue with me really, I had a few problems with being allergic to something they gave me to keep it dry and clean but aside from that it was fine. If it bothers you I would see your gp and ask about it.
My daughter had a mole removed from her spine when she was 8 and they did it as a day case under general anaesthetic, she had 3 stitches in it and suffered no pain at all.
Depends on the type of mole - if it IS a mole, and not a cyst or a wart.
They can freeze them, cauterize them, or, occasionally they have to cut them out - but you shouldn't feel much - if anything.
