update on dental swelling

hi,further to my post last week i would just like to say donna was right in saying i needed to seek emergency treatment.by mon the pain was unbearable with even more swelling.it turned out to be a nasty secondary infection so i ended up with 2 lots of antibiotics and the threat of drainage if it didnt clear up.thankfully im on the mend now and never want to go through that again.thanks again for all your replies great site.

Glad to hear your feeling better queen1954 you've been very unlucky to have that level of post operative pain, swelling and infection and hopefully you will not suffer like that again in future.
