Just had 2 salesmen entering the office from Mosco Marketing Ltd offering Victoria Jackson product bundle for 20 quid (they gave me a figure of its value in excess of 100 pounds). The bundle contains a red purse/bag with lots of brushes inside, a shimmering glow eye color kit, 1 survival kit, and beauty tips booklet, all for 20 pounds. I decided to go for it as if I can sell it on ebay or something plus I wanted to get rid of them!
They have given me a sales receipt with contact phone numbers etc so they seem genuine.
Have I been done for? LOL

Googling the name actually does bring up info
http://www.vmakeup.com/ That's the Victoria Jackson Cosmetics' website, filthiestfis. I think it's American. I've never heard of them, though.
We had a couple of women come in yesterday selling this!! They just wouldn't go away, eventually I got them going when she turned around and said "Victoria Jackson, it'll be all the rage 2008"
So maybe you've been lucky and got a good early bargain...or you have been had hehe
I work in a Beauty Salon and there is a bloke that comes in every so often selling these products. Although I have never bought them (as I would be adding to an already huge collection of make-up!) you do get a lot for your money! So as a collection, they are well worth the 20. Whether or not you will be able to sell them on Ebay for more than you bought them is another matter....!
we had two girls come into our office selling this. there is lots of it being sold on ebay for the same price. I would therefore say you are not getting a bargain but the people who bought it were very happy with the make up.
I bought it myself! 2 girls came into my office and me and 2 of my collegues bought it! I wouldn't say we've been done over, but i must admit that i dont use it. But the thought of knowing that it was worth 120 and i would only pay 20 was enough for me to buy it! Apparently VJ is a new up and coming make up artist in the Hollywood.

I dont believe for a minute that the kit is worth 120 quid, I believe its worth 20 quid, the price that they are selling it off to everyone!
I bought this make-up on the same offer, and I have to say it's excellent, real make-up artist quality. I was very impressed as when I had the sales pitch I thought it's not worth 100 for unknown brands. The Survival kit is great. Must be lots of other people with this offer though, lots of sales on ebay right now.
Don't be taken in by this brand.

I had a rep come into my shop Xmas 2007 with a hard sell telling me how great this product was and that it wouldn't be in the shops or tv till next year (still waiting to see it). Apparently it would be featured on Ideal World and QVC.

The make up is nothing like bobby brown, mac or anything else they have said and if you look on the cast lists on the internet movie database she hasn't done any make up for Pirate's of the Caribbean or sex in the city or even desperate house wives. Pure LIES!!

I struggled for a whole year to sell this make up, dropped the prices, buy on get one free, buy two get the cheapest free, every promotion under the sun but I still couldn't shift it.

Was told that if I couldn't sell it the rep would come back and take it off my hands - that never happened after numerous messages and telephone calls.

Put it on ebay no body wanted it on there and if they did they wanted all 26 sets for next to nothing - in the end I had to bite the bullet and took a massive loss on ebay after re listing it 7 times. But to be honest I was completely sick of the site of it.

One reason I think I struggled is because the reps went into every shop in the area and sold the kits for 20 each but it wasn't cosmetics shops or hair dressers it was even the shoe shop, gym, fruiters and the pie shop etc so it they bought the kits for family members it ment I had no chance of selling it anyway.

My advice - STAY WELL AWAY the company and the reps are all based on LIES!!!
