Is there anything at all that can be done to help protect teeth from acid erosion when being sick quite often?
Thanks

mabye u shoudl see a doctor if u keep being sick
Ah!!
Anorexic or bulimic??
that crossed my mind too funny though did not want to say
Or possibly undergoing chemiotherapy treatment? I don't think it's fair to assume!!!
have you thought about rinsing out your mouth after evertime you are sick? You can get some stuff called gelclair on prescriptio, but itsmore to preotect mouth rather than teeth.
definitely don't use normal toothpaste for an hour or so after being sick as it will react with the acid and make the problem even worse. (The same goes for brushing teeth after eating pickles or drinking wine and other acidic liquids or fruits.)

Thanks for your answers.

Funnygirl wasn't quite so far off, although neither anorexic or bulimic. What started off as something I thought I could control easily is starting to get a little bit harder. I eat normally, and don't binge eat, although if I feel I've eaten too much sometimes I really want to throw up so I don't spend the rest of the day wishing I hadn't eaten it. It isn't really on a regular basis, but the thing I do worry about is my teeth, as all I do is rinse my mouth out with water.
water's good, but rinse thoroughly
How do you think anorexics and bulimics start off? they all thought they had it under control to begin with. Seems funnygirl was spot on.
Instead of trying to find a cure for acid erosion you need to start getting help on your eating disorder.

Will find out about getting some help/advice on sorting out the problem in the first place before it gets more serious. Can see how it can develop into a proper eating disorder.

Thanks for the replies.
