My Pop has been complaining of numbness and ocassional stabbing pains in both his big toes, he has seen a specialist who said it was not gout and fitted him with 2 pads that fit under the foot between the sole and the base of the toes without any success. Anyone had or know of someone with a similar problem and what was the outcome. Any replies would be appreciated. Cheers Puss

Toes are the normal colour and no other symptoms apart from what I said.

if the pads have had no sucess then get him to call the specialist and ask for a further appointment or investigation.
