What is the one item of clothing or footwear that a woman can wear that in your opinion makes her look too tarty to touch........?

I always think those thigh length boots are SO awful! They do women no favours at all - and women who wear them are sadly delusional if they think they look good!

it depends, I think mini skirt and them boots on some are just horrible especially platform ones, but them knee length boots on an older woman with long skirt are nice. Think we had the FM boots conversation other week

I saw a girl yesterday, quite tall, long hair with thigh lengths on and she looked ok actually. I remembered thinking, God why can't I look that!!! Ii think women who wear T-shirts showing a fat or flabby belly is by far the worse.

Short demin skirt with stilletos and one of them jane norman alwful fabric tops in a pastel pink! YUCK!

White footware boots or shoes

OTT make-up

Chainmail tops

Tatoos on arms or chest

OTT gold chains and rings!!

Speaking as someone who loves her high heeled shoes and has been known to wear some revealing outfits in her time coupled with red lipstick... It's all in how you carry the outfit off.

Couple of weeks a go I wore some very high purple shoes with a black and white dress/top thing I usually wear over leggins but didn't this time. It looked very lady like and elegant despite the amount of leg on show. Like I said, it's how you carry yourself.

A quiff or any type of head bump.
Two vests of co-ordinating colours worn on top of each other
Visible bra straps
Leopard print shoes (unless the rest of the outfit is v. classy)
Muffin top causing clothing - i.e. low rise jeans or short t-shirt when you aren't toned in the tummy area

I think Chavvy gold chains are awful, and so are hoop earrings that are actually big enough to Hula with.

Too tight tops, jeans that are so low that the thongs show, orange tans and heavy handed makeup generally.

As for thing high boots, some people can pull them off, but hey, Julia Roberts wears them in Pretty Woman, and her characters a hooker!
