Beware, you will get really unexpected and possibly ghastly results if you do it yourself straight away. Please, for your future sanity's sake and to save you the horrid jibes on Monday Morning, go to a hairdresser and have it done professionally. 2nd important point is that if it does go horribly wrong (very unlikely as they are used to the chemical combinations) then you can get some compensation.

thanks hippy. i dyed over it in a darker blonde this morning, big mistake, it went yellowy-orange!! straight to the hair dressers after that, but the only thing they could do was put on a semi-perminant colour till the mess ive made settles for a week!! so big tip to every one, dont dye yourself, folk out a little extra and let the professional do it! xx
YOU should never attempt to put color over color,I'm sure your hairdresser told you that.In the meantime do this...go buy nexxus emergencee for your hair,it will help get it in good shape. Any color that is drasticly differnt from the color you had takes time to get used to. If your hair turned out orangey yellow...you could try an ASH color that will counteract that.In my opinon, any time you want a drastic change it is best to leave it to the pros...I HAVE done it myself with no problems by chance and other times ended up with a complete mess.
