About 5 years ago I had a lump at the bottom of my spine it was at the top of my bottom crack. They told me it was a chalk ball. It has now come back. Is there any way I can disperse this myself or will I have to have it removed again. Why is my body making chalk?

Sounds like a pilonidal sinus (sp), just googled chalk ball and got nothing, so if I'm right its an ingrowing hair. If you get to the doctors quick some antibiotics might clear it, if not you might need it cut out. This involves leaving a hole in the top of your bum crack and a slow healing process to make sure it doesn't happen again.

No its not that. When I had it removed before they said it was not a hair, they sowed me back up and I did not have a hole. They said it was a chalk ball. I was wondering why my body made a chalk ball there of all places and why it has now made another one?
Right well maybe its got something to do with the calcium deposits, either cartalidge or bone producing to much calcium. Lack of vitamin K and magnesium can cause ur body to produce too much calcium.
