I know Booster Girl is going to be a Grandmother of twins, so this is not meant as any offence whatsoever. But does anybody else find the whole issue with their paranormal messages to eachother a trifle scary?

Has anybody had any experiences of such?

i am a twin. What is weird about it??????????
I had twins in my class at school, the only thing that was weird was the fact that they would say the same things at the same time, but that could be put down to living in each others pockets.
Hehe Wardy ;-)

I'm not sure I totally believe it myself to be honest, I think it's possible that they think so alike that they think they have sort of paranormal power with each other. But in all honesty, ive no idea- will let you know in a few years time when the twins are here and have personalities....lol
I don't find it scary..just really interesting.

I worked with a twin. They were identical girls, and when her sister came into work to visit I was spooked just by the 'Doppelganger' standing right in front of me.

My workmate's twin became pregnant, and right at the end of her pregnancy my workmate had to go and lie down with severe backache. It went on for around 2 hours, and only went away when the phonecall came to say that workmate's twin had just given birth ~ everyone was fine although the labouring woman had a hard time as it had been a long hard labour and she had suffered excruciating backache..
i have twin boys and they are nothing a like. One is blonde the other dark. They dont even have the same interests. maybe this is because we have treated them as individuals and let them build there own characters i dont know. I hate the whole "oh there twins they must be carbon copies of each other ".
Ahhh, but could it also depend on what kind of twins they? I would assume if any set of twins were to have this paranormal thingymejig, they'd have to be identical ones- right?
Hi BOO - just popped in & read this thread! Are you really going to be a Grandmother of twins? If so, how wonderful for you & great company for your little girl. Congratulations to your daughter & all the family!

(P.S. Having grandchildren is great fun & really enhances your life)! -x-

Sorry Wardy, just had to post that.

Very interesting, BOO.

There were non-identical twins in my class at school. They didn't even look like sisters, and had no special bond (which is often talked about) or show any evidence of paranormal behaviour between them.
So we're assuming that yep they'd have to be identical ones then?

think i'll go reading up on it, see what I can find out :-)

And yep smudge, I'm to be a grandma to twins, next March- talk about gobsmacked. hope you're well xxxx
I know one pair of identical twins who are really strange. They developed their own special language and avoided contact with anybody else. They went through school and university together and were rarely seen alone. They now (in their late 20's) live together and still don't seem to be able to communicate with others. They came from a family with lots of other siblings.
Ah BOO, even though it might have come as a shock to you & probably your daughter, it's great news. Wishing you all the very best. -xx-

One of my best friends at school was a twin (still in touch), but her sister was in a different class to us & although they didn't see much of each other during the day, they often shared the same thoughts & had identical laughs!
I find the concept of connection between identical twins fascinating. I watched Big Brother just to see the body language of the twins - often identical and obviously totally unconciously done.

Obviously the extreme connection that some twins experience - to the exclusion of all others, is unusual, but again, more interesting than scary. It is only a relationship - it's not 'The Midwich Cuckoos'!
My twins are non-identical and they have moments where one will think for the other. I'm doing a twin study with Kings college university and both identical and non-identical both have a similar bond.
I aint a twin but seem to have a telephathy at times with my older brother...scarily so at times even if i aint seen him for ages
My cousins are twins and have helped each other out many of times. They seem to be inside each others head, its so strange. They think the same and often do things the same without meaning to. It used to freak me out when I was younger. I used to say they planned the day ahead and new what the things they were going to do and say the same, like a trick, but it wasn't they really were in each others heads lol.
We have a lot of twins in my family - this really freaked my husband out when i was pregnant as he finds identical twins really spooky - they make him feel very uncomfortable- he was mighty relieved when my scans revealed only one - so was I but for other reasons!
