Bought a Clio Grande 1.2 W reg 2 months ago. Love the car, drives lovely but I do have a couple of little niggles with it. I have the infamous squeaky roof. Since having the car I have had 3 or 4 ocassions when starting the engine that the hazard lights have come on (just have to turn them on then off again), & now have had 3 ocassions when I have got into car 1st thing in morning, started it & noticed that the mileage (not the total mileage, just the mileage that can be reset to see how miles you have done on a particular journey, etc) has reset itself to zero. And finally today, on starting there was an unusual knocking noise coming from the around the back of the car (maybe exhaust but that appears to be fine). The car is still driving fine, no problems, just wondered if any of these ae common faults or whether I should get them checked out? Any advice is much appreciated, thanks

The noisy sunroof is a common problem but can be a DIY fix.

The exhaust probably needs re-alignment.

Renault Instrument panels sometimes play up.

Thanks. I have looked on the Renault forum, trip meter resetting itself appears to be a common problem, couldn't see anything on there about the hazard lights coming on when starting car but did have quite a few posts about other hazard light problems. Mechanic is coming to see if it is the exhaust that is knocking when starting the car. Creaky sunroof is a well known problem, not sure how to rectify it though?
Have also had the problem of water leaking from the interior light but that was easily sorted. Have also had the bonnet catch replaced (Renault dealer did this free of charge!).
Is it just me or do the Clios have a number of little quirks??
