Hope don't ssound too gross

but a small cut on the front of my shin keeps leaking a clear fluid that trickles down to my foot. Once dried the residue is diffuclt to clean, and is causing a rash. I'ts not blood, so what is this fluid?

what you are describing could be plasma, the liquid fraction of blood, which is clearish yellow. it could also be pus from an infection, or albuminous exudate from eczema. Clean the wound thoroughly, and apply a plaster orr similar sterile dressing. if it continues, and the wound is not inflamed (which would mean infection or eczema) then be brave and clean the wound under running water hard enough to make it bleed again. then dress it and let it heal. often debriding the wound like this is enough to sort such things out. For eczema or infection, seee a quack
