Hi there, my little girl has lots of curly red hair (it's not long, but has lots of it) but recently i have noticed that when i comb it lots of her hair is still left in the comb, also there seems to be lots of hair left on the head-rest of her car seat and on her pillow etc, it isnt falling out in clumps and no bald patches, i asked the doc about it who jst said to have her hair cut.

Is it normal for a 3yr old to loose so much hair ?
Any advice would be fab, cheers xxx

Hi, I found this on a site, I think it's worse cas scenario though and I don't know how reliable it is.

If there aren't any bald patches then I wouldn't worry too much, it may just be a humans natural hair loss but perhaps you're noticing it more with your daughter.

If the hair does start radically thinning, go back to the doctors. In fact you could always go back anyway and demand that he explain his prognosis a little better, just to put your mind at rest. Then, if it just natural hair loss he can reassure you of this.
hi there my little sister had this problem its because her hair is thick i think thats why your doctor has told you get it cut, i think he ment get it thined, i also have thick hair and have to resort to showers as when i have a bath im just sitting in floating hair i wouldnt worry to much its natural for people with thick hair.
