Astronomers have found the most Earth-like planet outside our Solar System to date, a world which could have water running on its surface.

Maybe it's a parallel universe! In which case my doppleganger is sitting on BankAnswer right now answering Grimot's question about the recent discovery of the planet Earth.

champagne !!!! Hello , how was Egypt ? x

Sorry gromit , I imagine if I was on that planet life may still be at the tadpole-like stage !!! :-)

Just been to Egypt (this planet's version), where did you go?
I stayed at the Coral Bay resort in Sharm el Sheikh. It was lovely and sunny and relaxing. The only down side is that I was sold off for 5 camels, which I think was a bargain really.

It's my first day back today and I couldn't even make it to midday without hopping onto AB!

I'm not addicted... I don't have a problem.... I can handle it.
That's actually a really interesting link, Gromit. I'm going to follow this story to see what else they find out about this planet. It's too early to guess what it'd be like there. It's really dependant on just how much water covers the surface of the planet and how much light it gets from its nearest star. At the very least there'll be some plant life though.
I like the idea of being much closer to a cooler star. Imagine the size of it as day broke over the horizon!
