some can, I dont think the mini ones do.

I cant remember what mine was but i put on 3 stone in the 4 months i took it.

There are many side effects so discuss with your GP and make sure you read the advisory leaflets with any prescription
Depends on the pill. Some of them won't make you exactly chubbier but will make you retain more liquids, which give that swollen horrible sensation, and in the case of the D*i*anette (I'm putting this way because I'm afraid it could be edited) in me, it increased a lot my appetite so I had to ask for a change!
I am on microgynon, have been for years and it's seems fine, wish I could blame it for making me eat chocolate, but that's my own will power not the pill.
The first pill I was on (microgynon) made me have an increase in appetite and i did gain weight so I went back to the doctors. I'm now on another pill (Femodette) and now have no problems with weight gain.

it may increase your appetite but you wont gain weight as long as you realise that it does this and not eat more. If you think its affecting you, go back to the doctors. What works for one person might not work for another.

have been on the pill since i was 14 for medical reasons, have been on logynon, microgynon and now on marvelon and haven't experienced any weight gain what so ever.
Ive been on microgynon for 5 years and stayed the same weight whereas my friend was on it for the same period and she has put weight on. I think it depends on you and the pill
Forget the pill. Weight is the least of your worries. My wife has had her life ruined because of ithe pill. She now suffers from thrombosis, and will have to have medication (Warfafin) for the rest of her life. Plus monthly visits to the hospital for check ups.
