Seen lots of adds on TV for both DIY stores. Which one should I go to? Is one better than the other?

I would just go to the one that is closest to you. I think they are pretty much the same.
i would go for B&Q......... homebase seems so tired of insparation when i go there???

but may i add.................. i sell items that these places sell and mine are twice the quality for a third of the price but yet it amazes me at how many people think they are getting a great deal from them!!!
i like wickes,,, but b&q has everything.......

oh yes and lots of powertools........hooooohummmm
As ruge says why go to either they are not cheap places, buy from "Screwfix" which I believe is owned by B&Q but they are far cheaper, also the sheds etc, are not very good quality, very flimsy
I have both, Homebase and B&Q close to me, first choice is always B&Q.

thanks for your answers,

rugeleyboy - perhaps I should buy from your shop!!
you definatley should!!! lol
do you do mail order power tools rugel...........
no, sorry i dont thats where they beat me!

but my sheds and fencing leave them standing!!!
Definantely B&Q, much cheaper.. and they usually have loads of bargains.. Homebase are expensive and do not seem as comprehensive in there stock range..
sheds and fencing maybe rougely but is your lap panelling quite as lapped as b+qs , no.
and your weatherproofing doesnt do as it says on the tin either
"knocked off market stall tat" is how the rougely echo described your line in hutches.
