Do any of you play board games with friends? I am thinking of having a group of friends over one night for a game night, and I would love some ideas for which games to get :)

What about cluedo ? and Buzz off I know it isn't a board game but it will keep you all amused for a while, or buy a conpendium of games, and then you will have loads to play

i like monopoly that lasts ages and you get to know,how a it of power and money changes people who seem quite normal i also have a roulett table thats good fun aswell.a friend of mine brought me an electrocution game for christmas we ,drank loads of cocktails my friends boyfriend and me sat on the carpet electrocuting each other rotten drunk while his girlfriend didnt look amused we were cracking up .you can get it from argos

went to party, they played a strange game where everyone put their car keys in a pot and the ladies took it turn to take out a set of keys, well i was not having any woman drive my beetle, so i made my excuses and left

'30 Seconds' or the closest UK version is 'Taboo' i think. 30 Seconds is the SA version and brilliant fun.

Rapidough - which is like pictionary but with playdough - its fantastic - if you lose a go the other team can pinch some of your dough with a "Stealer" - however, be warned, there are several items on the clue list that always end up looking rather phallic! (Microphone was one).
