I woke up this morning in a bad mood. The second I woke up I knew I was grumpy, but nothing had happened to make me grumpy. I fell asleep last night happy after a great night out. My bad mood slowly evaporated but I have no idea why I was so grumpy for no reason. Has anyone got any plausible suggestions especially as I have nothing to be grumpy about. Could it be something to do with diet? I am not tired and always wake up happy, even on monday mornings.

Awwww, is it near a certain time of the month?

Could be you're coming down with something as there's lots going round at the mo.

Did you sleep propped up? This can affect the quality of sleep that you have.

Hope you're feeling better now xxx
was there something you weren't looking forward to today?x
bad dream?x

Jenna, interesting, I was actually propped up a lot higher than usual, my bf always throws pillows about in the night, when I woke up I had greedily wedged 3 under my head.

That could be it, how bizarre that a pillow could induce a bad mood.... Damn thoes soft feather filled sleep inducing pillows.

Feeling much better now, thanks x
I wake up every morning in a bad mood. My alarm clock is two boys having a fight, screaming and shouting. It never fails to wake me up and guarantees my bad mood.
I'm not a morning person & enjoy my own space first thing, with a cuppa & newspaper.

However, we're currently looking after our two little Granddaughters (ages 6 & 3), who wake up so happy, it's beginning to rub off on me - hope it lasts! ;o}
