Dream - mum died

I had a dream in mid 2004 about my mum. We were at her funeral but I could hear her voice in the church and she was angry saying "you were never bothered about me..". We were all upset and then when I saw the coffin I tried desperately to see the date on the top. It was a struggle to see it but finally I saw it - 26th October 2006. I've not stopped thinking about this dream the last couple of years and with the date creeping up I am getting very nervous. I hope it wasn't a premonition of any sort and that it was just a silly dream. What do you think? Anyone had any similar experience?

i had a really long answer typed out which was lost during the AB update.
Its just a dream, dont read too much into it. I had recurring dreams throughout my pregnancy that my sone (due 15th june) would be born 15th may. The date always came up and i panicked that my baby would be prem. I had bags packed for hospital early, always had notes with me and worried with every twinge and pain baby gave me.
15th may came and went, no sign. 15th June came and went too and a very lazy baby finally made his appearance on the 2nd July.
So dont take much notice of your dream, apart from maybe see your mum more if thats what is worrying you

I think it's just a dream not a premonition.

It may have been triggered by you feeling that you were neglecting your Mum at that time for whatever reason.

Why not take her out to lunch on 26th and tell her how much you do appreciate her!

Thanks all. You've made me feel a bit better. It's only a week away! I'm going to ring her tomorrow and get up to visit her at the weekend. It just seems so strange to have such a specific date in the future. I just hope you're all right.
