if i'm working out in the gym 3 x per week and doing 45mins circuit training with a view to losing about half a stone and building muscle considerably. what sort of diet should i have/

At the moment im eating mostly chicken breast, sardines, wholegrain brown rice, peppers spring onions chilli's some tuna a few eggs, wheatabix, shredded wheat bananas and mince occasionally.

sounds like a well varied diet. as long as your eating a bit of protein to build muscle and carbs to keep your energy up thats fine.
Sounds amazing! what about all the pasta, and some lean meat ? it might make things a little more varied. Don't get too obessed though, make sure you enjoy life, and SMILE! hope this helps x
Diet sounds spot on. Everyone i know who has bulked up says they have been suprised at how much they can eat. If you are doing weights, the more protein the better and keep the fat down. Just make sure you aren't missing any impotent nutrients. You got some calcium in there?
