Is anyone else suffering with an on-going headache? I ask this because for the past month my friend and I have suffered from an almost constant headache, the past two days it has becoming increasingly painful and its not being cured by the amount of sleep I have.

Today I spoke to my mother who is also suffering from a week long headache, and we are now wondering if there is a bug going round or if its just atomspheric pressure.

Any ideas?

Do you and your friend share a property or work together?
I get headaches and bad asthma when there are storms in the air but these dont last anywhere near as long as you have been suffering.

Check out the air that youre living and working in. Gas boilers / fires can cause carbon monoxide poisoning which cause headaches in the first instance.
i once had a thumping headache for about a week and a half, i changed my glasses and they didnt help so i just pumped myself full of nurofen, in the end it went but it was horrible at the time, constant headache whenever i try and concentrate on something!
Yeah I've been suffering for the last week and a half and nothing has changed lifestyle wise. I'll be checking back on this one cos I'm really fed up with it!
your headaches could be caused by your computer. I used to have headaches every time i went on the pc. I wore my reading glasses but that didn`t make any difference. I got screen thingy that `s like sunglasses. Sorry, i`ve got no idea what it`s called. I have not had any headaches since when using pc.
sounds mad but rub pure lavender essential oil on your forehead - it really works

Thanks for all your answers.

I am struggling with the light at the moment... god I wonder fi I have meningitis... well... one has to be dramatic about things.

Fortunately no rash is apparent to back up my claim of meningitis!
I seem to be very sensitive to light at the moment too, the office I work in is crap - flourescent lighting and no natural light. People want the lights on all the time so I can't get away from it. Don't think it's the cause as I've been there for months now. I've worked with computers for years too so nothing has changed. Mine sound like tension headaches. Hopefully they'll just go away soon! Are you under more stress than usual perhaps?
You may have suffring from migraines.
Headache is a pain in the head, scalp
or neck. Headaches can be caused by
minor problems or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis
and meningitis. Taking painkillers
continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle.
