The day you were born?

Does anyone know where I can find out what happened on the day my daughter was born i.e. News, what was at number 1 etc? (sorry if this is the wrong category, but i wasn't sure where to put it).

there's an 'on this day' on bbc website and I'm sure you can link to search for specific day from there. It's pretty good. Lots of similar things on web-just google

when was she born because you can but the papers from that day. whenever my mates have babies now I keep the paper from that day to give as a present as they'll be like �50 when they are older.
