When did you first start using this site and how did you choose your namesake?

I first started using answerbank in 2000 and my name is simply Wee Kaz because I am only 5 foot and my name is Karen what about you guys?

I only started using this site about 4 months ago (I think) - it is so addictive! I can't even remember how I came across it or why. I chose my namesake cuz Joey is my nickname and I like the colour green.

I based mine on a book I was reading at the time that argues that the Trojan Wars didn't actually take place in Turkey, didn't involve Greeks and definitley wasn't fought over the elopement (?) of some Greek Sort with a Prince from afar. It argues that it that it all took place in England (Cambridgeshire) and was down to the English tribes' monopoly of the tin trade and makes for compelling reading (IMHO)

I only found this site about 1 week ago and man it is sooooo addictive. As for my name, well my little westie dog is called muppet and I sometimes call her miss muppet so thought I'd use that, trouble is my other westie izzydog is dead jealous now ;-0

when i first joined about 18 months ago i was pixi, im not quite 5 ft tall and my fella calls me an elf but pixi sounded better lol. i then had to terminate my account and came back as aka pixi. I was well annoyed cos i use pixi(e) everywhere i go :(
