Does anyone have any experience of homeopathy? Does it work? Is there any Doctors out there that only use homeopathy totally excluding other drugs? I know there are vets that do, I was just wondering why a qualified medical practitioner would abandon orthadox medicine in favour of homeopathy?

Because orthodox medicine does not have all the answers- or even most. There are MANY things that doctors don't know, cannot cure and do not know why we get. They will never admit to that, of course!! That is why so many of us try chiropractors, acupuncture, homeopathy, herbal medicine etc. Doctors can fix broken legs well. But everything else... the drugs they use nearly always end up creating other problems (again, which they will deny). A lot of people are just sick of drugs that only surpress symptoms and do not deal with causes. That is why people will try alternative medicine!
Homeopathy worked for me. I had irritable bowel diagnosed by my GP. Masses of drugs prescribed, everything made it worse and the doc was talking about me having to go into hospital and have a temporary stoma made to allow my tum time to heal. Had lost 2 stone by this time. I was working at the time in another GP surgery where one of my colleagues was a homeopath and suggested he try and see if he could sort things out. It took him three sessions. Never had a problem since (over 20 years ago). He also used acupuncture to cure my migraines. Went from two a week to perhaps one every three months., if I was tired and not looking after myself properly. I think alternative therapies are great and would choose them over conventional medicine every time.
Best thing to do would be to get in touch with a local alternative health practicioner (Try the yellow pages, local papers, health food shops or ask around friends) as they will be able to answer any questions you might have.
