Strange Happenings.....

Not sure if this is the correct section - but hopefully you can help!
Something strange seems to be happening - The other day I was driving into town when I stopped at a junction - a number of motor bikes zoomed passed....I started the conversation with my friend about motor bike accidents but thought nothing more about it..... after about 5 hours I was driving back home when I approached the junction which I stopped at earlier (to give way to the bikers) and there had been an accident involving a motorbike (a car had driven into the riders path) - the next day I heard on the news that the bike rider had died.
Last night out of the blue I was thinking of my brother in laws mother (who is ill) and wondered if she was any better - at about 10pm last night I was told she has passed away yesterday.
On both occasions death has been involved, however this morning I was walking to another building in work with my colleague, when i noticed I still had my flip-flops on! I commented that I should have changed into my professional work shoes just in case a manager saw me - and I thought of one manager and said her name. Sure enough, I looked up and who was there - the manager I had named!
Its starting to freak me out.
My sister and I are very close and its not unusual for us to say the same thing at the same time - but I have been told before by a palm reader that I have a subtle Physic gift.....I thought she was just making it up at the time, but now I'm starting to wonder!
I now dont want to think/speak about anything just incase something awful happens.
Any suggestions, or are these all just a coincidence?

Very spooky but of course could be explained by your subconcious seeing things that trigger off these thoughts, your just not aware of it. But it could also be that your more intuned than you thought.
One thing exactly like this happened to me. My Dad was dying of cancer and was in a hospice. We all stayed with him his last night but the next morning, my sister and I went home to have a break (I was 3 months pregnant at the time) and were going to pop back about lunchtime (ish)
We were sat watching telly, I was doing some cross stitch when I just, out of the blue, stopped what I was doing looked up at the clock and thought "He's died" the time was 11:49am. I didn't say anything, even on the way to the hospice, prehaps because I didn't want to believe he had died but sure enough when we got there we were met by our Mum who told us he had passed away. It was afterwards I found out he died the same time as I had looked up at the clock. Could be pure coincidence as we knew he was dying and my mind could have changed how I perceived the events, but I know what I believe.

3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11
4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers. 6+5=11
5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9+1+1=11
6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9+1+1=11.
Sheer coincidence..?!

1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254. 2+5+4=11.
2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2+5+4=11.
3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3+1+1+2+4 =11.
4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.
Now this is where things get totally eerie:
The most recognised symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic holy book:
''For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allahand lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace."
That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran.
Still unconvinced about all of this..?!

To answer you foxy, I am going to disagree with everyone above and say that you have had a sudden (and probably temporary - so don't panic) surge of the psycic ability that I believe everyone posesses. I know several people who exhibit it in the same way as you and other people (like myself) who have a fleeting thought pass through their mind, from the smallest, stupidest things to big events, which they don't remember they have had until it happens. Don't be scared of it, I would try and develop it, if it was me.

Yeah well we seemed to have wandered off the original post into a load of tosh about numbers, for no clear reason.
No foxy you really don't need to worry about any of this or convince yourself you're psychic. Motor bike accidents happen every day, and bikes go past cars every day; your brother-in-law's mother was ill and it's just as likely you'd have got the news after not having thought of her for a while; you were at work when you mentioned the manager, who obviously works there too and so would be expected to be around; and you said it yourself - you and your sister are very close - family members who are close can be expected to have similar thoughts about the same things at the same time, there's nothing spooky about that.
Think of it in those terms, and it doesn't seem so strange or worrying.
And as for all the number stuff.... life's too short.

I dreamt that my mother died on a wednesday my brother who i had not seen for a while was in there .Wrong person he was killed in a motorcycle accident on the following Sunday.that was spooky not to mention upsetting .
