My god girl, you sure made an impression didnt you! ;o)

Unless the texts are offensive or make you feel uncomfortable then i'd probably say keep the number, delete the messages when you get them and dont reply!

Can i ask how often is sporadic and do you reply, coz that could be whats fuelling his fire!
Can you not just block their number on yr phone. May be easier than changing yr number?
Are you actually texting back this person coz any normal person would have stopped by now after getting no response
i have ! last time i saw him was december and he is still texting !!
I had an old flame get in contact with me last week and he is trying is hardest to get me to flirt with him even though now he is married. Today he has just made me laugh, he sounds so pathetic. Lets say Im 4 and hes X
X How about rubbing my back down in the shower
4 Dont you have a wife for that?
X Yer but Id prefer a sexy blonde (Knowing I used to be blonde)
4 Can help you there then
X Are you now blonde now?
4 No Im brunette
X Well brunette is just as good
4 Well surely your wife can help then
x No shes blonde
4 Well there you go you got your sexy blonde.

He cant win with me but he still tries its so sad its funny
Not for a year and a half (!!!!), but I've had similar situations. So long as you completely ignore the texts and delete them before reading then there's no harm done. They soon get bored.

BUT, if the person is a pest and the content of the texts is not very nice then yes, change your phone, if only for peace of mind.
Polly,

Just one reply will sort it,something nice, polite and simple yet to the point, might I suggest,

" Do one fart breath, go suck yourself inside out, you loser "

he might get the point, unless you want to go out with him again, that is. good luck,

i dont think i'll be the only person he has 'textual relationships' with but it is odd to want to stay in touch with someone you dont know and arent friends with. i was stupid enough to write back thinking he was interested but he's just mad.
