Could someone tell me the name of a condition which results in abnormal growth of the bones in the face to the extent that it takes on a huge, mask like appearance?

I think it's Craniodiaphyseal dysplasia - I stand to be corrected by those better informed, but I believe that was the condition portrayed in 'The Mask' starring Cher. BTW brilliant film.
Acromegaly is a similar condition. Click http://www.yourdictionary.com/ahd/a/a0065300.html and a link will take you to the appropriate page of the YourDictionary website.
I don't know what's happened again to the answer-sequence. Ipek's answer was there before mine - by 24 hours - but mine has gone top. It makes a bit of a nonsense of my use of the word 'similar'. How can a first answer refer to something 'similar'?! (I wonder if this one will now be Number 1?)
I think fibromytosis is one disorder.
