Hi I'm hoping someone will understand what I'm trying to describe here!! I have a sharp pain which starts just under my belly button and sort of feels like it runs all the way down my abdomen, as if it's attached to something "down there". Its internal and is worse when I stretch it, e.g. stand up straight, suck my stomach in, press it, etc. Can't really explain it any better than that! I've had it before, it sort of comes on for a while, then goes again.

I'm female by the way.

I know what you mean - it almost feels like startsfrom the other side of your belly button? (the other side being the inside of your body)

Don't know what it is though, I notice it more when I strecth, doesn't happen very often though.

I had that last month - a pain quite like I'd never experienced before. I came one day then went - but I woke next morning with the same pain but more severe. Went to docs - turned out I had bladder infection and got antibiotics. Completely cleared up in three days but the pain on that second day was excruciating. Don't let it go on too long asteroid - get it checked out (could it poss be apendicitis ?)

I tend to think its linked to my waterworks - don't know why though. Its not new to me, I've had it many times, many months apart, and as I say it never lasts for long. For instance, I feel fine now!

Hi asteroid!

It might be a rumbling appendix? I had discomfort and slight pain on and off for months and months before mine finally ruptured in September. It's worth getting checked out... x

i had this once and then it turned out to be a ruptured cyst on my ovary
get that **** checked out
