Is backcombing your hair bad for you?
i started doing it recently but havent noticed any difference in quality...

I can only think that it might split the ends of your hair if you do it too much and maybe trying to comb it out afterwards will do the same thing but as long as you trim the ends regularly I don't think it will harm your hair.

If you could only see what we did to our hair in the '60s! Mine was backcombed to a ridiculous extent, looked great though. Still got a good mop of shoulder length hair that my hairdresser said just the other day was good strong hair, so it obviously did me no harm.
