I've always been someone who goes with the flow and I often am only motivated by other people's enthusiasm. For example in a relationship i only want to go somewhere if the other person wants to, and i would never stay with someone who isnt as into the relationship as i was. But will that always be the case or will i become more self-motivated if and when something's so important that i just have to take some control?

You mean when another relationship makes you behave unlike your true character? then probably things will not really change.
Whether you become more "self motivated" is really up to you. If someone truly loves you it will be because they see the real you, not because you act as you think you should. Try reading "feel the fear and do it anyway" by Susan Jeffers, you may find it really helps you. Bright blessings - Amara xx

If you are motivated by other peoples enthusiasm, are you automatically enthused by other peoples motivation?

I think philosophy lies at the root of this. Or you could just be one of those who is laid back and cool. Like a doped up Rastafarian without all that tea cosy hat and dreadlock business.

Easy-going people live longer, never get stressed and tend to have a good sense of humour. I wouldn't worry about it and thank God he made you how you are.

WM did we agree then and give roughly the same advice? lol

You'll find that as the years go by your likes and dislikes will become a lot more marked and you'll be far less likely to just go along with things!

(Don't mind me I'm just bitter and twisted!)

Thanks. But I kind of meant if I really was meant to be with someone would I fight for them even if it went against my normal character?

I think only you can answer that question if and when you are in that situation. If you mean does love make you do irrational, crazy, out of character things? then yes it does!! Bright blessings Goddess - Amara xx
