A man... or more acurately, a situation has made me shed a tear tonight for the first time in about 2 years. I split with my long term disaster two years ago, been 'seeing' (for 'seeing, read 'sh@gging') another guy for just over a year, and tonght for the first time, he's makde me cry.... There is a question here, I promise.... The question is, do I just have seriously *****tiy taste in men, am I over-reacting, because I've been treated so horrendously in the past, that the moment a guy doesn't act as I think he should act, that I'm freaking out, or is being made to cry (i.e. being made to 'feel') a big step forward in that I actually care about someone else enough that they have the ability to upset me??? Experience is not always a good thing me-thinks, it just seems to taint everything that comes after....

thats just a SICK answer WARD MINSTER.

the girl is asking a genuine question, but you just want to ridicule her.. thats very grown up of you.

funky whatever you are. She knows what I mean, so I suggest you read a little more thorough into other questions. Perhaps then you can form an opinion. Until then, I suggest you butt out to save whatever face you have left.

But I am intrigued as to what exactly is "sick". How odd, the peasant mind is said the wise man.

ward im sure she would be interested in a cyber addict like you :)

Englishbird you dont want to be contenting yourself with cretins like you are....come and see me (if your really pretty that is) because im a God amoungst men.

Yes Englishbird there can be life after a sh*t relationship. Those of us who have suffered an abusive relationship (physical or mental) can very often turn into the abuser ................It took me a long time to stop thinking all woman were lying, cheating greedy ***** and to stop treating them as such. Change I did though and I got married in 86 to a woman I could not possibly imagine life without! Trust has to be a two way thing, if one can't, or won't give it then any possible relationship is going to be very difficult imho.

If anyone is interested......... when I went to school I was told the definition of a 'Sick Mind' was "Someone who defines everyone elses thinking as wrong" (I only remember becuase I had to write it out 100 times :-)

ward, do you answer all questions and take previous threads into account ? thats a new one on me...

im not in here to have a face or even save face !

been all through the answerbank, still looking for the wise man you quoted !

there isnt one !......:-)

If this guy has only done something to make you cry once in a year, then I think you are over reacting somewhat. Not that it's any better, but I was seeing a guy for about 5 weeks, until he ended things last monday and I think I cried more during the 'relationship' than I did when he broke it off.

I do know where you're coming from though, I hate crying voer men because it means I do like them and I feel stupid and powerless against whatever they've done to upset me.

Well, an interesting bunch of answers lol. Thanks Morrisonker, and if he upset you that much in 5 weeks, seriously better off without!! I had had couple of drinks (ahem) by that stage in preceedings on Sunday evening, I'm still annoyed with said man, but as a result of his behaviour I contacted an old flame (not the b'stard) and he's very keen. Pleanty more fish.

Ward-Minter if I wasn't used to you by now, that could be a little harsh sweety, as it happens there's no need for others to fret, W-M doesn't worry me. I know too many people that have died from cancer that had absolutely nothing to do with smoking. If it teaches you anything, it teaches you to live your life as you want to, not as others tell you to. And W-M, you being described as a 'nice young man' is about as acurate as me being described as a 'chav' lol. x
