I have arthritis and currently take Arthrotec tablets twice a day. I have read about a herbal remedy called Glucosamine/Chondroitin which is supposed to be good for arthritis. My question is do I take it as well as the Arthrotec or instead of?

You take the glucosamine as well as the arthrotec, although hopefully you will be able to reduce your need for painkillers gradually with the effect of the glucosamine.

Thanks ali.
I think that you can get Glucosamine on the NHS if you pester your doctor enough. It can be a bit pricey if you have to buy it yourself, so I would recommend going to see your GP about it. All the evidence is that it is really good, so I hope it works for you!
